Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Server Reforged ("we", "us"). They cover your use of Server Reforged. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Server Reforged helps you run game servers on hardware you own. You connect your own computer, and we provide the tools to set up and manage game servers on it.

Beta

Server Reforged is currently in a closed beta and provided free of charge. Things may change, break, or be unavailable from time to time while we build it out. We'll give you reasonable notice before introducing paid plans.

Because this is beta, please keep your own backups of anything you care about. Game servers, worlds, and data may be lost during beta, and we don't guarantee backups or that your data will be recoverable.

Who can use Server Reforged

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Server Reforged.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you're under 18, you may only use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms.
• You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Invitations

During the closed beta, access is by invitation only, and we decide who to invite. You can join the waitlist, but joining it doesn't guarantee access. Invitations are personal to you and can't be transferred or shared. We can limit, pause, or revoke invitations and access at any time.

Your hardware and content

The computer you connect, and the game servers and content you run on it, are yours. You're responsible for them, including following the rules and license terms of the games you host. You can disconnect your hardware and remove Server Reforged at any time.

To set up and manage game servers, our software runs on the computer you connect and uses the access it needs to do that job. Keeping that computer, its other software, and its data safe is up to you. We're not responsible for the computer you connect or anything else running on it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Server Reforged to:

• Break the law or infringe someone else's rights.
• Host content you don't have the right to host.
• Attack, disrupt, or abuse the service or other people.
• Get around limits or access parts of the service you're not meant to.

Availability

We work hard to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, especially during beta.

No warranties

Server Reforged is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim any implied warranties, including that the service is fit for a particular purpose, merchantable, or uninterrupted. You use the service at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Server Reforged is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost or corrupted game worlds or saves, downtime, or damage to the computer you connect or anything running on it.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim, or twenty five US dollars. Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Your responsibility for claims

You agree to cover us for any losses, costs, or claims that come from your use of the service, the content or game servers you run, your breaking of these Terms, or your breaking the law or someone else's rights, including the license terms of the games you host.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put the service or others at risk. You can close your account at any time.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service grows. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know. Continuing to use Server Reforged after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. If there's ever a legal dispute about Server Reforged or these Terms, it will be handled in the courts located in Utah.
