Why this costs less than renting a server
When you rent a game server, you pay every single month, for every server, and the bill never stops. You are really paying to borrow someone else's computer.
With Server Reforged, the computer is one you already own. That is the part that usually costs the most, so the price can be a lot lower. Your hardware stays yours, and your server stays under your roof.
What happens after beta
At some point we'll add paid plans so we can keep the lights on and keep improving. When we do, it'll be priced to stay well below what renting a server costs, and we'll give you plenty of notice first. Nothing will start charging you out of the blue.
