Server Reforged is now in closed beta

We built Server Reforged for a simple reason: hosting a game server for your friends has always been either too technical or too expensive, and neither felt right for someone who just wants to play.

Today we’re opening it up as a closed beta. We’re letting people in a group at a time, so we can keep everything running smoothly and give everyone a hand getting set up. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you the moment there’s a spot for you.

What it does

You take a spare laptop or desktop, follow our guided setup, and it becomes a game server you run from a simple dashboard. No fighting with your router, no monthly hosting bill, and no need to be a Linux expert.

Right now we support ARK: Survival Ascended and ARK: Survival Evolved. The whole journey, from a blank computer to your friends playing, takes about half an hour the first time. Our getting started guide walks you through every step.

What’s coming

We’re not stopping at ARK. Next on our list are Palworld, Valheim, and Minecraft (both Java and Bedrock), and there’s a long line of games behind those.

It’s free, and we mean it

While we’re in beta, everything is free. No credit card, no trial that turns into a bill. Down the road we’ll add paid plans so we can keep building, but we’ll give you plenty of notice and it’ll cost less than renting a server.
